ROLE

Wiser’s award-winning social team is expanding globally, at a rapid rate, with exciting new projects and clients to kick off in 2026. As a Social Lead, you’ll be responsible for running and elevating social delivery across Wiser’s highest-value and most strategically important accounts. This is a senior, client-facing role, sitting above Senior Social Media Manager, where you’ll lead complex social contracts, own senior client relationships, and set the standard for excellence across the Social team.

You’ll combine hands-on strategic leadership on key accounts with responsibility for quality, direction, and people development, ensuring our most important work is delivered confidently, creatively, and consistently.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading social strategy and delivery for Wiser’s highest-value and most complex client accounts
  • Acting as the senior day-to-day client lead, owning relationships, expectations, and outcomes
  • Setting clear social direction that aligns with wider brand, marketing, or employer brand objectives
  • Ensuring all work delivered on your accounts is insight-led, high quality, and commercially sound
  • Overseeing and signing off team social output, maintaining a consistently high bar across strategy, content, and performance
  • Identifying risks or issues early and taking action to keep delivery on track
  • Coaching others on strategic thinking, client leadership, and creative judgement
  • Collaborating closely across the entire business to deliver integrated, social-first work
  • Supporting pitches and new business for high-value opportunities
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to grow and deepen existing client relationships through social

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years’ experience delivering social media for brands, ideally in an agency setting
  • Proven experience running senior, high-value client accounts end to end
  • Strong strategic capability, with the ability to connect social activity to broader business objectives
  • Confident senior client presence, comfortable advising, influencing, and constructively challenging stakeholders
  • High standards for creative and strategic quality, with strong attention to detail
  • Experience line managing or significantly mentoring others
  • Comfortable operating autonomously and making decisions without constant oversight
  • Deep understanding of social platforms, formats, and trends, and how they drive impact
  • Bonus: Experience in employer branding, recruitment marketing, or corporate social is a strong advantage and should be clearly highlighted in your application.
