A bit more about the Product team: Wiser’s Product team is on a mission to transform how careers sites are built. We’ve got the platform and a global client base of household brands; now we need a brand-new DPM to help us get there. You will be an early hire in this new era, so we need a hands-on expert who is client-ready and can build at pace. This role will grow as fast as you do. The team is a collective of product operations, design and developers. We work as a united team striving for delivery using an agile methodology, where our designers work closely with developers, to create the best website product for all of our clients.
As a DPM, you will be responsible for managing client projects from kick-off through to delivery, owning the end-to-end design and development lifecycle. This is a hands-on role where you will actively contribute to discovery, prioritisation and delivery, while also providing leadership and direction to cross-functional teams. You will act as the primary product point of contact for Key Accounts and clients, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder relationships, and consistent reporting on progress, risks and outcomes. You will be accountable for aligning client objectives with product strategy, delivering timelines and quality standards. Alongside delivery, you will take on people and delivery leadership responsibilities, including guiding and mentoring product team members, setting clear expectations, supporting performance and development, and ensuring teams are operating effectively and collaboratively.
What you will be doing:
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, building long-term partnerships.
- Attend new business meetings to answer our clients’ technical questions and outline the benefits of our platform.
- Lead client onboarding and ensure a smooth, positive transition across website builds.
- Understand each client’s business goals and align our product solutions to support their objectives.
- Brief design and development teams on all things website, ensuring clients' needs are distilled into actionable requirements for the team.
- Attend weekly client sessions across the project’s delivery.
Your day-to-day:
- Lead the review and delivery of UX/UI Audits, providing clear, actionable feedback and recommendations.
- Brief and support design team members, ensuring project goals, user needs, and success metrics are clearly understood and reflected across all deliverables.
- Review design work and translate requirements into decks for client sessions.
- Own delivery rituals, including building and maintaining Jira tickets, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and facilitating retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
- Take ownership of complex or high-risk client situations, confidently leading challenging conversations around scope, timelines, delivery risks, or stakeholder alignment.
- Support new business efforts by contributing to pitch preparation, shaping product and creative approaches, and ensuring delivery thinking is embedded to help secure new wins.
Who you are:
- A strong communicator who builds relationships with ease.
- A natural people manager, someone who can drive high performance and enjoys developing the people around them.
- Empathetic, curious, and genuinely invested in customer success.
- Proactive, organised, and capable of managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and navigating complex stakeholder groups.
- Skilled at understanding customer needs and translating them into actionable recommendations.
Qualifications Requirements:
- Experience in independently leading website development projects on a CMS-based platform.
- Knowledge of the Website product management lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of SaaS, Web Applications or digital platforms.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyse data to identify trends and inform recommendations.
- Experience working with CRM or Application Tracking Systems (e.g., Workday, HubSpot, Salesforce, Gainsight).
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
Bonus points:
- Experience within a fast-paced Agency.
- Previous experience as a product manager or product owner.
- Budget and reconciliation experience.
