Wiser is looking for a strategically driven social media thinker with a strong background in corporate social, communications, PR, or editorial storytelling to join the team working with a Fortune 30 brand. We’re looking for someone who understands how major brands participate in culture and conversation—someone who can shape narratives, spot opportunities, build compelling strategic stories, and translate complex business messaging into social content that feels timely, relevant, and platform‑native. The role sits across strategy, editorial, and communications. You’ll help lead the social media narrative for one of the world’s biggest brands across always‑on content, reactive moments, executive storytelling, and broader cultural conversation.
You should be equally comfortable:
- Building a sharp strategy deck for senior stakeholders
- Writing news‑style social copy
- Developing narrative territories
- Contributing to fast‑moving creative and editorial conversations
This is a role for someone who lives and breathes social, but also understands the nuance, scrutiny, and stakeholder management that comes with operating inside a major corporate ecosystem.
What will you spend your time doing?
- Shaping Social Media Narrative & Strategy
- Develop culturally informed social media strategies and editorial narratives
- Translate business priorities and corporate messaging into social‑first storytelling
- Identify reactive, cultural, and conversation‑led opportunities for the brand
- Help define how the brand shows up across social media in a way that feels relevant, credible, and differentiated
- Bring strong instincts around platform behaviour, audience dynamics, and emerging social trends
- Building Strategic Stories
- Create clear, compelling decks and narrative presentations for internal and client stakeholders
- Structure strategic thinking into persuasive storytelling and actionable recommendations
- Contribute to campaign narratives, content territories, messaging frameworks, and editorial direction
- Present confidently and credibly in front of senior stakeholders
- Lead Editorial Thinking
- Write sharp, concise news‑style social copy across multiple platforms
- Develop copy that balances cultural relevance with corporate sensitivity and brand standards
- Bring a strong editorial lens to content ideation and execution
- Support reactive and real‑time content opportunities where needed
- Collaborate Across Teams
- Work closely with creatives, strategists, producers, account teams, and social media managers
- Contribute to an integrated, fast‑paced agency environment
- Help drive creative and strategic excellence across always‑on and campaign work
- Navigate complex feedback loops and multiple stakeholder perspectives with confidence
What are we looking for?
- 6+ years of experience in social strategy, corporate communications, PR, editorial, or content strategy
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, internet culture, and evolving audience behaviours
- Someone able to take complex client briefs and turn them into actionable creative briefs for our team of designers, copywriters, and art directors
- Exceptional storytelling and deck‑building skills
- Strong editorial copywriting ability
- Experience working on large global brands or within complex stakeholder environments (a bonus if there are US brands within the mix)
- Strategic mindset with hands‑on executional capability
- Calm under pressure and comfortable operating at pace
- Naturally collaborative with strong communication and presentation skills
