A leading software provider serving large multinationals is driving change in the Tax, Financial, and Regulatory industries with innovative technologies. Continued expansion has created an opportunity for an experienced Enterprise Business Development Manager/Account Executive to develop the growing customer base of its Tax Automation Platform.
The successful candidate will be joining at an exciting time, as the company explores new markets and sub-categories for its already successful cloud-based tax automation software.
The role involves building and owning a personal pipeline with support from the SDR function, while also creating new opportunities independently.
Relevant experience for the role includes:
- Background in Finance or SaaS sales to Enterprise clients
- 5+ years of enterprise sales experience with average deal sizes above £30K and deal cycles of 6-12 months
- Proven record of consistently achieving sales targets and supporting colleagues in doing the same
- Experience leading consultative and investigative discussions with senior executives/C-Suite audiences and presenting complex value propositions
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate and control complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders in enterprise organisations
- Proficiency in outbound prospecting and generating new business through a multi-threaded approach (phone, email, networking, and channel partners)
- Gravitas to establish strong conversations and relationships with senior decision-makers
- Experience taking new products to market
Key challenges and responsibilities include:
- Building strong relationships with executive-level buyers and influencers (CFO, Financial Controller, Head of Tax, etc.) to understand their needs and integrate them into the sales process
- Aligning all sales activity around the company’s value proposition and contributing to its ongoing development
- Creating and delivering business value-focused messaging in collaboration with marketing, product, and sales leadership teams
- Demonstrating the company’s expertise in tax transformation by securing proof-of-concepts, advocating client references, and applying use-case-driven selling
- Delivering compelling presentations that build trust and position the organisation as a reliable partner and advisor
The Enterprise Account Executive will be supported by a strong SDR team, a suite of GTM software, and experienced sales leadership with a proven track record of navigating the VC funding cycle to exit.
This is an opportunity to join a highly ambitious team with a learning mindset, committed to challenging one another to exceed customer and business expectations.
Up to £90,000 base + commission
