Wise May are looking for a collaborative Senior Compliance Analyst with recent experience working in the Insurance industry to join a global insurance and reinsurance provider, to support the compliance team in the delivery of their annual compliance plan to include advisory, monitoring, reporting and regulatory tasks. This is a full time, permanent role, with hybrid working (4 days a week in the office and 1 day remote) and the hours are 9am-5.00pm.
Senior Compliance Analyst duties and responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of the organisation's compliance plan.
- Assist in the monitoring and reporting of risk exposure.
- Assist in the delivery of compliance monitoring.
- Generate information and assurance regarding compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide business advice on various aspects of compliance including regulatory, data protection and licensing.
- Assist with the review and improvement of compliance policies and procedures.
- Support in the preparation and submission of regulatory returns.
Senior Compliance Analyst key skills and experience required:
- Experience working as a Compliance Analyst in an insurance setting (MGA, Broker, Insurer, Lloyds Syndicate).
- Experience in drafting NDAs and Contracts.
- Knowledge of Lloyd's of London and the UK insurance market regulations.
- Strong working knowledge of FCA guidelines, and relevant legislative frameworks.
- Familiarity with compliance monitoring systems and methodology.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
- Collaborative and confident liaising and communicating with staff and clients at all levels.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office packages.
