Wise May are working with a regarded Investment Management firm based in the West End, who are looking to hire an Operations Assistant to join their Client Services (Tax) team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, fast-paced environment with excellent long-term progression. The role offers a blend of administration, client interaction, and technical onboarding within a specialist tax-focused team supporting both personal and business investment clients. This is a full-time, permanent role. The hybrid working arrangement is 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

Operations Assistant duties and responsibilities:

  • Supporting the onboarding of new clients, ensuring all compliance and AML requirements are met
  • Managing client documentation, including scanning, processing post, and maintaining accurate records
  • Performing data entry and updating internal systems
  • Handling more complex administrative instructions such as client withdrawals, transferring investments between family members and supporting cases involving bereavements
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and senior team members to progress cases
  • Speaking with clients to request information, provide updates, and follow up on outstanding requirements
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with strict regulatory and compliance standards

Operations Assistant key skills and experience required:

  • Degree educated (2:1 or above preferred)
  • Previous experience within financial or professional services is desirable
  • Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, comfortable speaking with clients and senior stakeholders
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage a varied workload
  • Keen to build a long-term career within investment management / finance
  • Adaptable and able to work under pressure
