Wise May are looking for an Events Sales Executive to join a leading event venue provider based in the City. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team, who bring high profile events and conferences to life. This is a full time, office based role, the standard hours are 9am-5.30pm.
Events Sales Executive duties and responsibilities:
- Actively follow up on leads, enquiries and bookings to ensure the highest level of conversion.
- Manage a portfolio of existing clients to drive repeat business and maximise up-selling opportunities to increase sales revenue.
- To sell events to achieve and exceed individual and team targets.
- Conduct regular client site visits and planning meetings.
- Prepare and collate final event details to hand over to the operational team.
- Attend and support trade fairs / exhibitions.
- Use the Venue Management System to accurately record client data and requirements for events and contacts met at Tradeshows.
Events Sales Executive key skills and experience required:
- Demonstrable experience of working in a sales oriented role, in a target driven environment.
- Proven track record in planning large corporate events.
- Professional and friendly demeanour, with the ability to deliver an exceptional service to your clients.
