Wise May are looking for a highly organised Administrative Assistant to join a well-established and highly regarded charity that works with individual donors and corporate partners to unlock the value held in shareholdings for charitable causes. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, close-knit team offering flexibility, excellent benefits, and long-term stability. This is a Part-time role working 3 days a week (1 day in the office and 2 days from home), with the working hours of 9am - 5:30pm.

Administrative Assistant key responsibilities:

  • Processing and maintaining accurate records of donations and transactions.
  • Managing internal databases (Microsoft Dynamics CRM – training provided).
  • Preparing the Charity’s Gift Aid claim.
  • Responding to enquiries and supporting donor and stakeholder communications.
  • General administration including post, filing, and document organisation.
  • Assisting with reconciliations and reporting tasks.
  • Liasing with beneficiary charities regarding grant payments and receipts.
  • Supporting the wider team with day‑to‑day operational tasks.

Administrative Assistant key skills and experience required:

  • Proven experience working in an Administrative position.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive and reliable approach with strong problem‑solving skills.
  • A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
  • Agile and adaptable with strong attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in charity or financial services is beneficial but not essential.
