Wiseman Consulting is recruiting for an Employment Law specialist on a 100% remote basis or in-office in Reading, Berkshire. This rare opportunity comes when the firm is focused on expanding its employment law department. The firm focuses on providing the highest standards of advice to its client base nationally in the UK.

For this Employment Solicitor role, we expect a minimum of 2+ PQE in Employment Law from a High Street, Regional, Boutique or Top 200 Firm anywhere in England and Wales.
The Role: This role is for an Employment Law Solicitor with a minimum of 5+ PQE, ideally from a private practice background in England or Wales. The firm has a busy desk and a warm caseload of varied and exciting work. Still, we welcome applications from well-rounded Solicitors who are active in business development or want to contribute to new business at the firm.
The firm can handle the full range of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious, employee and employer, but tends to focus on:
- Settlement Agreements
- Unfair dismissal (including constructive unfair dismissal)
- Discrimination
- Redundancy
- Workplace grievances
- TUPE transfers
- Maternity and paternity leave
- Flexible working
- Unlawful deductions from wages
- Breach of contract
- Employment Tribunal or High Court litigation
