We are building our core team to scale our Front-of-the-Meter (FTM) and BTM portfolio.
The Role
We are looking for a Chartered Electrical Engineer to lead our grid connection strategy. You will be the technical "anchor," ensuring our projects meet all UK regulatory standards (G99/G100) while integrating our advanced Chinese hardware and software solutions into the UK grid.
Key Responsibilities
- Grid Compliance: Lead G99/G100 applications and manage the full lifecycle of DNO (UKPN, NGED, etc.) coordination from application to commissioning.
- Technical Interface: Serve as the primary technical lead for investor due diligence and DNO technical reviews.
- Design Oversight: Review SLDs and Protection Relay Settings; ensure EPC designs align with UK standards (BS 7671, BS EN 62109).
- Supply Chain Integration: Work closely with our R&D team to localize inverter and EMS specifications for the UK market.
- Project Delivery: Safeguard the grid connection timeline to ensure on-time asset delivery and prevent contractual delays.
What You’ll Need
- Certification: Must be a Chartered Engineer (CEng).
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of G99, G100, and UK distribution network operations.
- Experience: 3-5 years in solar/BESS project engineering (1-10MW scale preferred).
