Job Description

We are looking for a Programme Manager to drive and scale our engineering operations at Wise. This role is perfect for someone with a proactive, hands-on approach and a strategic mindset to navigate complex, cross-functional programs. As we continue to grow, this newly created role within the Engineering Operations team presents an exciting opportunity to lead impactful initiatives that ensure sustainability while scaling. You'll play a key role in supporting Wise’s continued success during this dynamic phase of growth.

You will join a small but highly impactful team focused on ensuring that key business operations run efficiently. By collaborating across the business, you will lead and support projects, applying both strong project management expertise and an operational lens to drive this dynamic role.

  • Lead and manage key engineering operational programs and initiatives across the organisation, including AWS multi-region projects. These projects focus on deploying applications and services across multiple geographic regions to enhance performance, resilience, and availability, reducing latency and improving disaster recovery.
  • Ensure seamless integration of program requirements into existing workflows by collaborating with teams, aligning objectives, milestones, and timelines, and establishing clear ownership and governance frameworks.
  • Support the continuous improvement of operational processes to enhance efficiency and scalability, ensuring sustainable growth as the organisation evolves.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder alignment, leading projects end-to-end with a focus on timely execution and long-term impact.
  • Collaborate with teams across Wise to manage, track, and report on company-wide initiatives, ensuring transparency, accountability, and successful delivery.
