Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money. Min fees. Max ease. Full speed. Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money. As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world’s money. For everyone, everywhere.
We’re looking for a Staff Analyst to join the Account Squad who will directly shape our product strategy. You will deliver clear, actionable analysis on our most strategic questions, communicating insights to product, engineering, and design stakeholders to align thinking and prompt action on key opportunities. You’ll own and deliver projects that inform our product roadmap and growth strategy such as identifying & modelling churn drivers; developing customer segments that explain growth and unlock opportunities; analysing product usage to inform product design; and evaluating the impact of competing product opportunities. You’ll report into the product analytics director for the Account Squad and work alongside a team of product analysts who work directly with the product teams building the Wise Account. This is an IC4 role.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with Product and Analytics leads to identify & answer the questions that will have the most impact on the Wise Account product strategy.
- Deliver actionable analysis efficiently, working iteratively and quickly to address the core of the questions we want to answer.
- Provide written and presented updates to communicate your insights to stakeholders, creating clarity and alignment.
- Model the growth of the Wise Account and develop an explanatory narrative which we use to take action & communicate to the rest of Wise.
- Build data models, BI and automated workflows that scale your impact and help you, other analysts and stakeholders to move faster.
Qualifications
- 4+ years experience in analytics, owning and driving projects that have influenced product & commercial decisions.
- Strong analytical thinker – you can take a fuzzy problem, structure it and solve it.
- SQL, Python and data modelling (we use dbt and airflow but don’t mind if you haven’t used these, as long as you know how to model data).
- Bias to action: you identify what needs to be done and make it happen.
- You can work independently in a fast‑paced environment (able to identify impactful projects and evaluate & triage inbound requests).
- Strong stakeholder management skills – you are collaborative, you know how to influence and when to say yes or no to maximise impact.
