Senior Product Designer - Spend - Credit

b Overview /b p As Senior Product Designer for Wise Credit, you will shape our first credit offerings and design end-to-end experiences that are fair, transparent and scalable. You’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research and Analytics to turn complex credit concepts into intuitive user journeys across markets. Your work will set design foundations for new products and customer segments, balancing global consistency with local nuances. This role combines problem framing, roadmap influence and hands-on design to impact customer outcomes and business growth. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Own the full credit journey: eligibility, application, decisioning, onboarding, limits, statements, repayments and support /li li Shape the product proposition and roadmap, not only execution /li li Identify and resolve friction points in how customers pay, track and manage spending /li li Design for a global product with local market nuances /li li Translate complex systems into simple, intuitive experiences /li li Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research Analytics to ship high-impact improvements /li li Use data and research to continuously improve outcomes /li li Raise design quality and consistency across Credit offerings /li li Help customers understand whether credit is right for them /li li Support responsible application, utilization and repayment outcomes /li li Influence propositions Wise pursues and roadmap development /li li Assist eligible customers in using Wise Credit responsibly when needed /li li Build trust with transparent, predictable credit experiences /li li Reduce customer confusion through proactive design improvements /li li Improve critical moments in the credit journey (declines, limits, statements, missed repayments) /li li Design experiences that scale globally while respecting local regulatory and operational differences /li li Balance customer experience with risk, compliance, and operational constraints /li li Be a foundational designer in a new product area /li li Lead zero-to-one work with autonomy on high-impact problems /li li Shape end-to-end Credit experience with a cross-functional team /li li Influence product strategy through design, not just execution /li li Tackle complex problems at the intersection of money, risk and global payments /li li See direct impact of work on customer behaviour and business outcomes /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Strong experience designing complex product experiences, ideally in fintech or similarly complex domains /li li Comfort with ambiguity and ability to shape problem spaces /li li Ability to simplify complexity and design intuitive experiences in constrained environments /li li Systems thinking and journey-oriented design /li li Experience designing for global products across markets and simplifying regulatory differences /li li Use of data and research to inform decisions /li li Clear communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration /li li Commitment to trustworthy, customer-focused product design /li /ul ul li Clear communication /li li Collaborative cross-functional work /li li Ability to challenge assumptions when needed /li li End-to-end product design /li li Systems thinking /li li Data-informed design /li /ul
