Current banking systems do not facilitate easy, quick, or inexpensive cross-border transactions. We are building a new system to address this.
We are seeking an Engineering Lead to help develop a scalable, reliable, and secure global platform. You will work on exciting projects that enable consumers and businesses to send and receive money globally.

Job Description
The Payin Platform team manages systems through which all money flows into Wise, including account top-ups, cross-border transfers, and receiving money from customers. This is a critical component of Wise\’s money movement infrastructure, and we seek an engineer eager to contribute to its development.
The Payin Platform is an internal API product designed to facilitate ease of integration for teams building on our platform and to help Wise customers pay in new ways and access new features. Examples include topping up a USD balance via BRL with Pix, or a UK business requesting payment from a Hungarian business and paying in HUF with a credit card. Our API consolidates these inflows into a unified view of money movement.
The team is expanding, with plans to split into two teams by early 2026. The second team will focus on recurring payin flows, including variable repeat payments, direct debits, and subscriptions.
