Job Description

About Wise:
Wise is on a mission to facilitate borderless transactions – instant, transparent, and eventually free. Behind our seamless customer experience is a complex system of services that process over $100 billion annually for 16+ million customers worldwide. As we scale to serve millions more customers, ensuring our platform\’s reliability becomes increasingly critical to our mission and revenue growth.

The Platform Engineering Tribe:
We are the backbone of Wise\’s technical infrastructure, ensuring everything runs smoothly for our customers and engineering teams. Our Reliability squad combines expertise in systems availability and uptime, monitoring performance metrics, and developing robust applications, to create a resilient platform that our customers can depend on 24/7/365.

The Reliability Analyst Role:

As our dedicated reliability analyst, you\’ll build the analytics foundation that helps us predict, prevent, and quickly resolve issues before they affect customers. Your insights will directly influence how we design, build, and operate our systems, making you a key player in our mission to create the most dependable financial platform in the world.

About You:
We\’re looking for someone who has driven meaningful change through their analytics work. What excites us most is understanding the tangible impact you\’ve created – whether that\’s identifying insights that shifted product strategy, building models that improved customer experience, or developing dashboards that transformed how teams make decisions. We want to hear about the moments when your analysis didn\’t just sit in a report, but actually changed how your company operated, saved costs, increased revenue, or solved real business problems. The specific metrics matter less than the story of how your analytical thinking translated into concrete outcomes that moved the needle for your organisation.

  • Understanding of reliability engineering concepts (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets) and experience working with complex system performance data.

  • Systems Thinking: Ability to understand complex interdependencies between services and customer journeys
  • Storytelling with Data: Exceptional capacity to translate technical metrics into meaningful business impact narratives
