Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world's money.
Min fees. Max ease. Full speed.

Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.

As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world's money.
For everyone, everywhere.

More about our mission and what we offer.

Shape Wise's first credit products—starting with US Business credit—and make complex borrowing, spending and repayment journeys simple, transparent and fair.

We're on a mission to make money without borders—instant, transparent and eventually free.

The newly created Credit team is at the frontier of that mission, exploring how fair and transparent credit can help customers manage their global financial lives more effectively.

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to join Credit and shape the future of Wise's credit products.

Your mission is to help the squad understand and meet customers' needs for credit—both for business and personal use.

You'll turn complex credit propositions, policies and systems into intuitive experiences that fit seamlessly into people's lives and businesses, making credit terms, costs, decisions and consequences clear.

From launching our first credit offering, you'll help establish the design foundations that allow Wise to expand into new products, customer segments and markets.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Own the full credit journey: eligibility, application, decisioning, onboarding, limits, statements, repayments and support
  • Shape the product proposition and roadmap, not only the execution
  • Identifying and solving points of friction in how customers pay, track, and manage their spending
  • Designing for a global product—balancing consistency with local nuances across markets
  • Turning complex systems and constraints into simple, intuitive user experiences
  • Collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Research & Analytics to ship high-impact improvements
  • Using data and research to continuously improve customer outcomes
  • Raising the bar for design quality and consistency across our Credit offerings
  • Here's how you'll contribute
  • Help customers understand whether credit is right for them
  • Support responsible application, utilisation and repayment outcomes
  • Influence which propositions Wise pursues and how the roadmap develops
  • Help eligible customers use Wise Credit responsibly when it meets a genuine need
  • Build trust by making credit feel transparent, predictable, and easy to understand
  • Reduce customer confusion and support needs through clearer, more proactive design
  • Improve critical moments in the credit journey—declines, limit changes, statements, missed repayments and restrictions.
  • Design experiences that scale globally while working well in local contexts
  • Balance customer experience with risk, compliance, and operational constraints

This role will give you the opportunity to

  • Be a foundational designer in a new product area
  • Lead zero-to-one work with significant autonomy, owning highly visible, high-impact problems
  • Shape the end-to-end Credit experience with a new cross-functional team
  • Influence product strategy through design, not just execution
  • Tackle complex, real-world problems at the intersection of money, risk, and global payments
  • See the direct impact of your work on customer behaviour and business outcomes

About you

  • You have strong experience designing complex product experiences, including operational processes behind the interface, ideally in fintech or similarly complex domains
  • You're comfortable working with ambiguity and shaping problem spaces, not just solutions
  • You can simplify complexity and design intuitive experiences in constrained environments
  • You think in systems and journeys, not just individual screens
  • You're comfortable designing for global products across multiple markets & simplifying regional regulatory and operational differences.
  • You use data and research to inform your decisions
  • You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across disciplines
  • You care deeply about building products that customers trust and rely on

This role probably isn't for you if

  • Your experience is primarily visual execution rather than end-to-end product and service design.
  • You prefer fully defined briefs over helping determine what should be built.
  • You're uncomfortable challenging product, commercial or risk assumptions when they could produce poor customer outcomes.
