As we continue to grow and scale, we’re on the hunt for an experienced professional in Treasury Risks and Controls to join our Risk and Controls team in Finance. Your work will be instrumental in strengthening our internal control environment, monitoring and reporting, and helping the business achieve its mission.
This role provides an excellent platform for someone looking to step into the Treasury Function of a Fintech and deep dive into the inner workings of a Company that has taken the financial services industry by storm.
Your Mission
- Co-lead the project to build end to end views of our control environment to illustrate key risks, controls and processes from a SOX perspective that impact group Treasury Functions.
- Understand and guide the teams on implementation of the requirements as per the US SOX and other relevant local regulations.
- Assist in building a testing programme to independently assess controls to identify gaps and implement remediation plans.
- Effectively support and challenge the Treasury teams on their journey to evolve and mature our risk and control environment.
- Partner with both finance and non-finance teams as needed to address risks and controls related to Treasury.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including finance teams, Risk and Internal Audit, to establish standards, policies, and develop KRIs for measuring and monitoring risks on a continuous basis.

A Bit About You
- You have a professional finance qualification such as the CFA, FRM, CAIA, ACA or equivalent (CPA / ACCA) with proven post qualification experience in the field of Treasury Risks.
- Detailed knowledge of Treasury concepts including Market, Liquidity and Credit Risks along with FX Management is a must.
- You have experience leading and managing teams preferably within Financial services.
- You have significant experience in the requirements of SOX including testing of controls and remediating control weaknesses.
- You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and take responsibility to do whatever needs doing to solve problems.
- You understand the value of taking a balanced approach to risk and controls to support the growth of the business.
- You work well in a multinational team environment, and know how to have an impact through others.
- You are keen to learn and develop your knowledge of how a FinTech and fast growing scale-up operates.
Our Finance and Treasury teams are spread across the globe, so there are a lot of video calls and some travel involved (potentially once a quarter).
