We’re looking for a Senior Director of Analytics to lead the Money Movement Chapter—the primary engine behind Wise’s mission to replace legacy banks for international people and businesses while ensuring the best cross border transfer experience. Our goal is bold: Make Wise the last account you’ll ever need to open. We have moved beyond simple transfers to build a world-class banking alternative. By integrating our foundational Send business with a comprehensive Account ecosystem, we ensure that whether our customers are Sending, Spending, Receiving, or Growing their money, Wise is their primary everyday platform.
In this high-leverage leadership position, you will oversee a scaled organisation of 25 analysts and 4 managers. This role sits at the critical intersection of product innovation and our global financial engine. As a trusted partner to senior leadership, you will combine market context with deep data insights to drive major strategic pivots, ensuring Analytics remains a central pillar of our product strategy during a period of cross-functional leadership transformation.
The Money Movement Chapter includes:
- The Send Business: Optimising the core engine that moved £84bn in just six months. You will drive Mission Zero by identifying efficiencies in liquidity and routing to lower fees, making sending £500k as natural as sending £5.
- The Account Ecosystem: Building the "Primary Account" infrastructure that replaces a customer's local bank. You'll lead analytics across five top-level teams.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Partner with Product and senior leadership across Send, Spend, Receive and Grow to define product and growth strategy.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing, distributed analytics team.
- Collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners (Product, Engineering, Design, Research).
- Own the OKR and KPI framework for Core.
- Identify structural blockers and delivery risks across teams.
- Champion the build of scalable, automated data pipelines and BI infrastructure.
- Lead and coordinate cross-pillar analytics initiatives.
- Serve as a senior voice for Analytics at Wise.
