Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money. As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world's money. We are looking for a passionate Senior Data Engineer II to join the Treasury Global Liquidity team and help design the foundations of the real-time liquidity observability stack and core business functions served by the team.
As an Engineering Lead, you will work in a highly collaborative environment, partnering closely with Product Managers, Analysts, Data Scientists and key stakeholders in our Treasury and Finance teams.

- Financial Strength and Resilience: Design and implement advanced monitoring systems to optimize financial resource management systems, directly contributing to operational efficiency gains.
- Automated Investment and Risk Management Tooling: Develop systems that automate the investment of surplus cash while adhering to strict risk and regulatory parameters.
- Collaborate with data scientists and help develop machine learning to forecast future cash inflows and outflows across all currencies and jurisdictions with high accuracy, enabling proactive and optimal cash positioning and minimizing idle balances.

You lead by example, inspiring your team to produce high-quality, maintainable code and uphold high engineering standards.
