Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money. Min fees. Max ease. Full speed. Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.

Your mission:

You’ll be figuring out how to harness the potential of AI to scale your impact as a content designer, quickly test and iterate on your ideas with a huge degree of freedom and flexibility, and learn as part of your day-to-day work as this technology evolves. You’ll be shaping the core Wise Assistant experience for Support and beyond. You will build the system that guides our customers through all parts of the Wise product, and gives them quick and reliable help exactly when they need it.

How you’ll contribute:

  • Together with a team of engineers, product managers, and data scientists, you’ll design the system from the ground up to shape how Wise delivers conversational AI experiences that help our customers in the exact moment they need help.
  • You’ll collaborate with your engineering, data science, product, and design partners to set the vision and strategy, and coach teams to deliver it.
  • You’ll be influential in your product area, understanding and prioritising content needs and delivering on the most impactful projects across multiple teams.
  • Working with design leaders from other squads, you’ll standardise and systematise experiences for customers.
  • Using your content skills, you’ll level up content design quality and maturity across the Support squad.
  • Part of the Content Guild, you’ll regularly collaborate with the content community across Wise.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Own the squad’s content and automation strategy end-to-end, and steer the strategy and direction.
  • Elevate product and content quality — you define what good looks like in the squad, and demonstrate it with everything you ship.
  • Be part of a positive change in the world. We’re fixing a broken system, and putting people and businesses in control of their money.

About you:

  • You’re an accomplished and experienced Principal Content Designer with extensive experience shipping world-class products.
  • You have an in-depth understanding of AI and strong perspectives on how the underpinning systems need to be shaped, including as part of user-facing products and as part of your content design process.
  • You’ve designed systems that generate content and experiences that guide customers, including considering prompts, guardrails, knowledge architecture, and agents.
  • You love learning new things, including nerding out on the technical details, and applying what you learn to solve complex problems.
  • You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity — and can successfully collaborate in this environment.
  • You have an eye for quality, and know what to focus on to drive it up.
  • You’re influential, inspiring, and able to work with others in a culture that values autonomy and empowerment. You evangelise the role of content design in automation-based projects, and enjoy coaching other content designers new to these kinds of products.
  • You’re highly empathetic, both to customers and the people you work with.

Heads up, this probably isn’t for you if:

  • Your experience is mostly in marketing content, advertising, copywriting, journalism or social media – and you have no hands-on experience of content design or working in UX.
  • You’re not comfortable navigating complexity and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • You’re not interested in the technical aspects of automation. While you will partner with engineers to build systems, you’ll need a solid understanding of and keen interest in how the system functions.

We believe teams are strongest when they are diverse, equitable and inclusive. We’re proud to have a truly international team, and we celebrate our differences. Inclusive teams help us live our values and make sure every Wiser feels respected, empowered to contribute towards our mission and able to progress in their careers.
