hackajob is collaborating with Wise to connect them with exceptional professionals for this role.
Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money. Min fees. Max ease. Full speed.
Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.
As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world's money. For everyone, everywhere.
Millions of people will read your words. We’re looking for a CRM copywriter for a 14 month fixed-term contract (maternity cover) to join our CRM team in London. You’ll be someone who puts our customers at the heart of everything they do — who is passionate about choosing the right combination of words to say, at the right time, through the right channel. Wise has over 16 million customers — and you’ll speak to giant swaths of them through our emails, push notifications and in-product messages.
Money can be complicated — especially the world of global transfers — and our customers trust us with theirs. With your jargon-free words, you’ll make the complicated sound simple. Giving them the comfort and confidence they need to make the best decisions. Your words will need to educate and empower, with an injection of Wise personality.
You’ll work with our cross-functional teams to deliver key messages about our brand, products and pricing.
What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll write the copy for CRM campaigns that inform and inspire customers throughout their journey with Wise.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Write clear and concise copy that gives customers everything they need to know when they transact with Wise.
- Compose the messages that help guide customers along their Wise journey with ease.
- Produce time-sensitive service communications.
- Craft the words for marketing campaigns to educate customers on how to use features of the product, and transactional campaigns that update and inform.
- Help brainstorm ideas and angles for all of the above.
- Support CRM in their mission to deliver relevant, personalised and timely communications across Wise channels and customer touch-points.
Qualifications
We’re looking for a creative, talented CRM writer who can explain — at times — complex concepts to people in clear, concise ways. Does that sound like you? Do apply. Regardless of whether you have our ‘ideal’ qualifications and experience, which include:
- Experience writing copy for CRM channels for a medium-to-large-sized business, preferably in a regulated industry.
- A pragmatic approach to writing with a good understanding of design and UX.
- Experience of writing CRM copy for service notifications and marketing campaigns that nudge customers to take an action.
- Clear writing samples that illustrate your craft for making sense of complex product terminology through friendly and clear copy.
- Versatility — you’ll be just as happy writing a 10-email lifecycle journey as you are crafting a 2 word CTA or writing a crisis email at short notice. And you’ll have a portfolio to show it.
- You’ve worked with designers, product marketers and managers before.
- You have the resilience to handle requests from multiple teams.
- Collaboration — an appetite to work closely with many different parts of the Wise organisation as well building strong partnerships with other creative disciplines.
- Experience of articulating the ‘why’ behind your decisions — you’ll need to convince, to disagree confidently, and to take and give useful feedback.
- The ability to deliver to tight deadlines under pressure.
