Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money. Min fees. Max ease. Full speed. Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.

As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world's money. For everyone, everywhere. To transform the global business experience at Wise by merging deep analytical rigor with high‑velocity operational execution. You will be the bridge between Data, Product, and Operations, acting as a hands‑on operator who doesn’t just identify friction points through data but builds the systems to eliminate them.

Your primary mission is to scale our global business product while ensuring our operational controls are as automated and frictionless as possible.

As an Associate Business Operations Manager, you will be at the heart of Wise Business—a key growth engineer for the company and a top strategic priority as we look to grow our Business customers. You will dive deep into our data stacks to unlock insights across products and problems that touch our Business customers. Whether you are identifying root causes for customer churn, understanding onboarding funnel drop‑offs, or evaluating product performance, your analysis will directly guide our priorities for serving business customers at scale.

This is a role for a "Builder‑Analyst" —someone who doesn’t just surface data but uses it to drive the growth of businesses worldwide. You will calculate the tangible impact of process changes and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to ship solutions that move the needle for our business users.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Data‑Driven Execution: Use SQL and scripting (Python/R) to independently validate hypotheses and identify bottlenecks in the customer journey business customers have on Wise (e.g. at onboarding and with specific products).
  • Drive Actionable Insights: Convert complex data into actionable insights and suggest solutions or plans to drive improvement in key focus areas and KPIs for Product and Regional Operations teams.
  • Drive AI‑Powered Automation: Champion the use of GenAI and LLMs to automate workflows, reducing manual overhead and improving the efficacy of working with Businesses.
  • Build and monitor the KPI framework for Businesses: Establish and monitor the metrics that matter - growth, product adoption, retention, suspension rates, and operational efficiency - ensuring data is at the heart of every roadmap decision. Build and maintain dashboards to guide our decision making daily.
  • Collaborate & Influence: Work with your lead to influence plans and roadmaps by providing data‑driven business cases which significantly move success metrics.

A Bit About You

  • Highly Analytical: You have 5+ years in analytical or high‑growth ops roles. You are proficient in SQL (clear, performant queries) and have experience with Python or R to automate routine tasks and analyse complex datasets.
  • Execution‑Focused: You are entrepreneurial and hands‑on. You don’t just deliver a slide deck; you deliver a functioning process or a technical solution.
  • AI Fluent: You understand how to apply LLMs and automation tools within an operational context to create step‑change improvements.
  • Strategic Problem Solver: You can define complex problems clearly and enjoy working independently in fast‑paced, sometimes ambiguous environments.
  • Customer‑Centric: You believe in solving real problems for our customers and take time to deep dive into their experience, including doing user research if needed.
  • Influencer: You can communicate technical findings to non‑technical stakeholders and influence without direct authority.

This Role Gives You the Opportunity To:

  • Build the Engine: Move beyond "insight generation" and actually execute the changes you recommend.
  • Drive Measurable Impact: See the direct correlation between your data models and the reduction of customer churn and operational costs.
  • Operate Globally: Work across international borders, ensuring our "big bet" initiatives scale across the globe.
  • Influence Ops and Product Roadmaps: Your data driven insights will directly influence the priorities that will drive Business customer growth.

For everyone, everywhere. We’re people building money without borders — without judgement or prejudice, too. We believe teams are strongest when they are diverse, equitable and inclusive. We’re proud to have a truly international team, and we celebrate our differences. Inclusive teams help us live our values and make sure every Wiser feels respected, empowered to contribute towards our mission and able to progress in their careers.
