As we scale, the requirements for data-driven risk management are evolving. We need a talented Analytics Director to build and own our measurement frameworks, infrastructure, and reporting, ensuring audit-ready reporting and shared 1st/2nd line data governance. This role is highly strategic, focused on enabling the business to measure and manage risk across the full spectrum of major fintech risk domains. Lead the strategy and execution of the Enterprise Risk Analytics roadmap while coaching a high-performing team. Standardise risk metric calculation logic, KRIs/KPIs, and attribution logic while implementing sign-off processes to ensure data integrity. Partner with Data/Engineering to align instrumentation and data models with risk monitoring needs, ensuring reliable pipelines with clear data lineage. Drive insight-to-action loops, quantifying trade-offs between risk reduction, customer impact, and cost. Provide analytics leadership for Financial, Fincrime, Ops, Resilience, and Reg stakeholders. Proven analytics leadership in a scaled fintech, financial services, or regulated technology environment (3-7 years management experience).Demonstrated ability to build cross-domain measurement and reporting, including governance and audit/evidence expectations. Experience with risk quantification approaches (scenario drivers, stress-style thinking, trade-off modelling).Track record building durable analytics foundations (pipelines, metric layers, monitoring/quality controls, operating rhythms).To meet our regulatory obligations as a licensed financial services company, Wise needs to conduct background checks on all new hires, which in the Finance team includes Criminal and Credit checks.
