Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money. Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.
We’re looking for a Junior Creative Designer (Performance Marketing) to join our Brand and Creative team in London. In this role, you’ll play a key part in helping our in‑house agency create impactful, recognisable and effective marketing content, helping Wise reach millions of existing and potential customers around the world.
The ideal candidate is an energetic, passionate self‑starter with at least two years’ experience in a similar in‑house team or reputable agency. We’re looking for a Creative Designer with creativity, strong design and communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive, eager‑to‑learn attitude. You’ll create on‑brand content for our Performance marketing channels, collaborating with stakeholders, managing workflows, and testing ideas to drive engagement and growth. From brainstorming ideas to delivery and production, you’ll always keep our customers at the heart of every design.
Your mission: Wise exists to build money without borders. Over a decade ago, we challenged the way the world moves money – cutting out hidden fees and making international finance simpler and fairer. Today, we help millions of people and businesses send, spend and manage money across countries with ease, making money simple, accessible and smart for everyone, everywhere.
Here’s how you’ll be contributing within the Brand and Creative team:
- Designing visually engaging assets for Performance marketing channels, including static and motion graphics, that elevate and strengthen our brand and connect with our audience.
- Collaborating across Paid social and paid display teams to understand their objectives and create channel‑first content.
- Working on large‑scale projects across multiple formats and markets, including concept, creative, production, versioning, and localisation, while being organised and maintaining clear communication.
- Gathering design inspiration, following trends, and building moodboards, storyboards, and concept presentations to bring creative ideas to life.
- Having a strong point of view on social marketing trends and culture.
This Role Will Give You The Opportunity To:
- Develop: You’ll be working with a very talented and passionate bunch of designers, copywriters and video editors. We’re a feedback‑friendly organisation and you’ll have loads of opportunities to learn and be challenged.
- Be creative: You’ll use curiosity and creativity to challenge the status quo and deliver confident ideas, while always considering commercial impact. We’re looking for someone with oodles of passion and interest in all things creative.
- Have impact: You’ll join our exciting mission to build money without borders and show people that Wise is the smartest way to manage their international money.
Qualifications:
- You have strong fundamentals: a portfolio showing solid brand and marketing work across multiple platforms and channels, including experience with performance marketing campaigns and digital advertisements.
- You understand different formats and can create scalable design solutions and templates.
- You have experience producing creatives for digital ads on Meta, YouTube, Google App, and similar platforms.
- You are organised and have strong communication skills.
- You are curious: you ask questions, don’t just take a brief at face value; you want to understand the context and are eager to learn from those around you.
- You are resilient and open: you view feedback as a learning tool, not criticism. You respond constructively and use guidance to improve your technical execution.
- You are a self‑starter: while you appreciate guidance, you have a hunger to tackle creative challenges and the assertiveness to manage your own time on smaller projects.
- Strong proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with Bannerflow, Jitter, AI tools, After Effects, and 3D is a plus.
For everyone, everywhere. We’re people building money without borders — without judgement or prejudice, too. We believe teams are strongest when they are diverse, equitable and inclusive. We’re proud to have a truly international team, and we celebrate our differences. Inclusive teams help us live our values and make sure every Wiser feels respected, empowered to contribute toward our mission and able to progress in their careers.
