Job Overview:

The Group FinCrime Governance and MI Manager will oversee FCC governance processes, including systems, tools, and controls from a 2LoD perspective. The role focuses on enhancing workload management and governance, designing and implementing tools to support scalable growth, and assessing workload, productivity, capacity, and resourcing. The manager will define escalation matters from 1LoD to 2LoD, determine approval processes, and develop tooling and dashboards to monitor requests, SLA adherence, and workload trends. They will conduct resourcing assessments to ensure the FCC function scales appropriately with the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Governance and Compliance: Develop and manage workload management tools, including the FinCrime portal, defining SLA matrices, creating dashboards, and refining governance and escalation processes. Ensure all issues and incidents are logged, tracked, and resolved appropriately.
  • Management Information (MI): Create and deliver MI reports on workload, incidents, and trends, providing regular updates to senior management and ensuring visibility on financial crime risks and remediation progress.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in financial crime compliance, risk, or incident management, especially with global issues.
  • Strong understanding of governance systems and MI creation.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, capable of influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, or related fields; certifications like ACAMS or ICA are preferred.
