Finance Data Business Partner (Permanent)

Due to the continued and rapid growth of Wise, we are looking for an experienced Finance professional to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in London. You will be a key part of the team that helps guide our fast-growing business.\ In this role, you will collaborate with our Finance Business Partnering team to support Marketing teams with budget management and performance optimisation. You will use data to build a clear story around our results, manage communications, and report to various stakeholders to ensure our growth remains sustainable.\ N Lead the Marketing re-forecasting processes, building accurate projections for growth metrics and operating costs.\ N Improve existing financial models and reports to broaden and deepen actionable insights, helping Marketing make informed investment decisions.\ N Review key marketing metrics, such as ROI and CPA, to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.\ N Provide deep dives on key business and financial metrics, focusing on actuals-to-forecast variance comparisons to drive accuracy, clear decision making, and strategy development.\ N Partner with Marketing leads to help them understand their performance and cost base, acting as a trusted advisor to assist them with critical decision making.\ You will have a high level ofresponsibility and the freedom to shape financial strategy to optimize growth investment and cost management.\ Use data to directly influence how Wise grows sustainably, working alongside collaborative, curious people who value your insights.\ In our expanding business, you will have regular opportunities to broaden your expertise and develop your career.\ N Be flexible in how you work: We understand everyone needs different setups to thrive, so we do our best to support flexible working arrangements, including opportunities to collaborate across multiple offices and time zones.\ N Proven financial experiencedirectly supporting a marketing function and partnering closely with department leads and senior stakeholders.\ N Strong foundational knowledge of Marketing Investment principles, with a track record of evaluating efficiency and effectiveness to drive business growth.\ N Experience building financial models and owning end to end cost analysis.\ N Experience implementing cost controls and monitoring ongoing spend to help an organisation operate smoothly.\ N Analytical and technical proficiency, with comfort navigating Business Intelligence (BI) tools and extracting data via SQL for reporting and analysis.\ N Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to simplify complex data, articulate a clear narrative, and align a diverse stakeholder group.\ N Ability to work in an agileenvironment, balancing high-level strategy with a hands-on approach to day to day tasks.\ Bonus points for:\ N Working knowledge of Anaplan, Workday, or Looker.\ We're people building money without borders — without judgement or prejudice, too. n Inclusive teams help us live our values and make sure every Wiser feels respected, empowered to contribute towards our mission and able to progress in their careers. \
