Job Description
Our Board & Executive Talent Team enables us to deliver on our mission by ensuring we have the best leaders for our current & future needs. We are a global team who manage our senior leadership, executive and non-executive board hiring globally. We’re looking for an Executive Recruitment Coordinator to join us and help deliver an exceptional experience for our executive hires globally. Our team plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of Wise. We’re not just hiring leaders — we’re building the foundation for long-term success. The team ensures we have the right leaders, in the right roles, at the right time to propel our mission of "money without borders" forward.
This means focusing on three key areas:
- Executive Leadership Roles: We identify and hire visionary leaders — from C-suite to senior leadership — who can drive innovation, scale operations, and guide our teams through complex global challenges.
- Non-Executive Director (NED) Positions: To ensure strong governance and strategic oversight, we recruit independent directors for both our main and subsidiary boards. These leaders bring external perspectives, industry expertise, and critical thinking to help Wise grow responsibly and sustainably.
- Strategic Hiring Initiatives: Beyond traditional leadership roles, we tackle high-impact projects such as community building for our executive group, events, succession planning and many more.
What you’ll do:
You’ll be an essential part of our Executive Recruiting team, providing world-class coordination and ensuring smooth, thoughtful experiences for candidates, new hires, and internal stakeholders.
- Executive Recruitment Coordination: Own and manage complex interview scheduling for senior leadership roles — both in-person and virtual on Zoom — across multiple time zones. Coordinate logistics for travel, meetings, and on-site visits. Create, personalise, and elevate candidate experiences throughout the interview, pre-hire, and onboarding stages. Manage and update candidate data within SmartRecruiter (our ATS), ensuring accuracy and consistency. Keep candidates informed and supported throughout the hiring journey — providing interview schedules, meeting briefs, and answering questions.
- Event & Community Management: Organise and support our newly created Executive Community of leaders with organising and running bespoke Executive Events. Coordinate executive community and alumni engagement initiatives, helping us stay connected with past and potential leaders.
- Pre-boarding & Onboarding Support: Act as a single point of contact ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for our leadership hires. Ensure all pre-hire checks are completed accurately and on time. Set up new hires in Workday, collaborating with People Operations and hiring leads to ensure a smooth handover.
The experience needed to succeed in this role:
- Proven experience as a recruitment coordinator working with senior executives or as an executive assistant managing high-stakes scheduling and logistics.
- Strong project management skills — able to handle multiple priorities, keeping everything on track.
- Experience supporting recruitment events or internal engagement programs is a plus.
A bit more about you:
- Exceptional attention to detail — you catch the small stuff and ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Excellent communication skills — you’re comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and candidates, adapting your tone to suit the situation.
- Adaptable self-starter — you don’t wait for instructions; you proactively tackle problems and keep things moving.
- Highly organized — you know how to juggle competing priorities and still deliver on time.
- Passion for delivering an outstanding candidate and new hire experience — you care about the details that make the process feel thoughtful and human.
Location: This role is based in our Worship Square office in Shoreditch, London. We operate a flexible working model and typically see most Wisers split their working week between the office and home. However, we expect that new joiners will be in the office more often to build connections and learn from colleagues.
