We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to support the General Counsel at Wise. This role goes beyond traditional diary and travel management—you will be a strategic partner, handling high-level projects, governance coordination, and financial administration. Working closely with the legal leadership team, you’ll ensure seamless operations, communication, and project execution in a fast-paced fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executive Support: Act as a gatekeeper, effectively managing the General Counsel’s time, priorities, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strategic Coordination: Prepare executive summaries, high-level reports, and board materials to support decision-making.
- Governance & Compliance: Oversee legal team governance processes, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Project & Event Management: Plan and execute team offsites, events, and cross-departmental initiatives, including assisting with exec team and board events.
- Financial Oversight: Manage executive office budgets, invoices, and financial planning.
- Communication Management: Draft and refine internal and external communications on behalf of the General Counsel.
- Leadership Support: Lead administrative teams and contribute to strategic planning sessions.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant at senior leadership level, ideally in fintech, legal, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and legal processes in a corporate environment.
- Experience in project management and executing high-level administrative initiatives.
- Proficiency in budget management, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Skills & Abilities:
- Meticulous attention to detail—accuracy is non-negotiable.
- Exceptional business communication skills, including drafting executive-level correspondence.
- Strategic problem-solving ability, with strong decision-making skills.
- Ability to anticipate needs and proactively solve challenges.
- Strong technical proficiency, particularly in Google Suite, Microsoft Office and project management tools.
Personal Attributes:
- Highly organised and proactive, with a structured approach to workload management.
- Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Able to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Law, Finance).
