Job Description
The Role
The role is the Device Management Engineering Lead and reporting into the Device Manage Lead and be based in London.
You’ll contribute to the mission by:
Leading the engineering team to build scalable solutions using a mixture of industry standard and bespoke solutions. Helping the team to build a roadmap which allows supporting the future growth of Wise.
What you’ll be doing:
- We anticipate you to be a catalyst enhancing our technical efficiency and team productivity
- Supervising team productivity and setting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure exceptional device management and IT infrastructure
- Providing regular guidance to your teams
- Upholding high standards within the team, consistent with the companys overall IT practices
- Your leadership will be crucial in enhancing our organizations technical efficiency, service quality, and overall team performance
Qualifications
What do you need?
We are fully aware that it is uncommon for a candidate to have all skills required and we fully support everyone in learning new skills with us. So if you have some of those listed below and are eager to learn more we do want to hear from you!
- 7+ years of experience in Mac or Windows management
- Previous experience leading a technical team of engineers in infrastructure or end user computing
- Experience of implementing IaC like Terraform
- Kandji (or other MacOS/iOS MDM)
- Intune (or other Windows MDM)
- Google Workspace
- Experience in working within an Active Directory/AzureAD (or directly relevant cloud-IdP) environment
- WUFB and other patch management solutions
- Scripting either Python, Bash or Powershell
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
It would be ideal but not essential if you had:
- Linux MDM experience (Desktop or Server)
