Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world's money. Min fees. Max ease. Full speed. Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money. As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world's money. For everyone, everywhere.

How should global money work? How do you take a complex, stressful experience and make it simple, calming even? How do you challenge the way it's always been done? How do you collaborate in a human-centred way to ship work you're truly proud of? These are just a few of the challenges a Senior Content Designer will work on as part of Wise's global mission to build an open, fair, and human financial system. Right now we move £6 billion every month for over 12 million people. But we're only 2% done — because people without borders deserve money without borders.

What you'll be doing:

  • You’ll be levelling up the quality of our existing content across Send — a squad that’s revolutionising how people transfer money across borders to be as cheap, easy and fast as possible.
  • The Send squad is central to Wise's mission of building an open, fair and human financial system.
  • In this role, you’ll play a central role in enabling customers to send large amounts of money quickly and with absolute confidence.
  • You’ll invest time in deeply understanding our customers and their needs, so that you can design and deliver experiences that make complex processes like cross-currency transfers clear, engaging and effortless.
  • You’ll also be part of the Content Guild, and will regularly collaborate with the content community across Wise.

Here’s how you’ll contribute:

  • Get to know our customers, building empathy and a deep understanding of their needs.
  • Use your expertise to discover, design and deliver simple, beautifully crafted, intuitive experiences that customers love.
  • Influence teams and stakeholders to increase customer-centeredness, creativity, and content quality across the squad.
  • Work with designers from other squads to build a single, seamless experience for customers.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Deliver impact and ship work you’re proud of.
  • Own content projects from end-to-end.
  • Elevate content quality — defining what good looks like in the squad, then helping deliver it.
  • Be part of a positive change in the world. We’re fixing a broken, greedy system, and putting people and businesses in control of their money.

About you:

  • You’re an accomplished Senior Content Designer with experience shipping world-class consumer products.
  • You’re comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity — and can successfully collaborate in this environment.
  • You’re highly empathetic, both to customers and the people you work with.
  • Strong interest and foundational understanding of AI, including as part of your design process.
  • Exceptional content craft and a desire for quality.
  • Willingness to give and receive constructive feedback.

Heads up, this probably isn’t for you if:

  • Your experience is mostly in marketing content, advertising, copywriting, journalism or social media – and you have no hands-on experience of content design or working in UX.

We’re people without borders — without judgement or prejudice, too. We want to work with the best people, no matter their background. So if you’re passionate about learning new things and keen to join our mission, you’ll fit right in. And because we believe that diverse teams build better products, we’d especially love to hear from you if you’re from an under-represented demographic.

For everyone, everywhere. We’re people building money without borders — without judgement or prejudice, too. We believe teams are strongest when they are diverse, equitable and inclusive. We’re proud to have a truly international team, and we celebrate our differences. Inclusive teams help us live our values and make sure every Wiser feels respected, empowered to contribute towards our mission and able to progress in their careers.
