Trainee Metrology Technician

This is a fabulous entry level role for an individual looking to enter the world of manufacturing laboratory components. All training provided. Industry leading company – lovely team environment.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Operate various gauges and laboratory equipment to inspect and verify optical components.
• Communicating inspection results to relevant departments
• Ensure manufactured parts meet specifications by comparing them to technical drawings.
• Prepare detailed test reports for measured components.

Qualifications and experience:
Necessary:

• GCSEs in English and Maths grade C or equivalent
• GCSE in Combined Science/Physics grade C or equivalent
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

Desirable:

• Prior laboratory experience
• CAD experience

Other:
Monday-Thursday 08:30-17:00 Friday 08:30-15:00
