Temporary Customer Service & Telesales AssistantDorking Office Based Part-Time 3 Days per Week£13 £15 per hour depending on experienceAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a friendly, confident and organised Temporary Customer Service & Telesales Assistant to join a busy team for an initial 4-week period, with the possibility of an extension.Working 3 days per week (ideally Monday Wednesday, up to 21 hours), you ll be speaking to customers and potential customers by telephone and email, answering questions and helping people through an online entry/submission process.The RoleCalling previous and potential customersFollowing up with people who have started but not completed an online submissionAnswering questions and providing information clearly and confidentlyHelping customers navigate an online platform and complete their submissionFollowing up by email with relevant information and linksMaintaining accurate records of calls, outcomes and follow-upsManaging a database and keeping information up to dateEscalating technical or more complex queries where requiredWorking towards agreed call and conversion targetsAbout YouFriendly, confident and comfortable on the phoneNaturally personable with a good telephone mannerOrganised, proactive and able to manage follow-upsConfident communicating with people internationallyComfortable explaining processes and helping people onlineAccurate with data entry and administrationConfident using email, Excel and online systemsProfessional and reliablePrevious experience in telesales, telemarketing, customer service, call handling or a similar telephone-based role would be beneficial.Speaking an additional language would be a bonus, but is not essential.Full training will be provided.The DetailsLocation: Dorking office basedHours: 3 days per week, ideally Monday WednesdayHours per week: Up to 21Contract: Initially 4 weeks, with potential to extendStart: ASAPWorking hours: Flexible between 8.00am and 5.30pmIf you re confident on the phone, enjoy speaking to people and are looking for a short-term part-time opportunity, we d love to hear from you.
