Business Development Executive

We're recruiting on behalf of a highly respected membership organisation that represents and supports some of the UK's most successful businesses.

This is a varied, people‑focused role where you'll help grow membership by building relationships with prospective members and guiding them through the joining process.

Responsibilities

  • Contacting and engaging with prospective members via phone, email and networking opportunities.
  • Understanding each organisation's needs and demonstrating the value of becoming a member.
  • Managing the full membership journey from initial enquiry through to joining.
  • Building strong, long‑term relationships with business leaders and decision makers.
  • Maintaining accurate records using the CRM system.
  • Working closely with the marketing and events teams to maximise opportunities and deliver an outstanding member experience.
  • Supporting projects that improve processes and enhance member engagement.

Qualifications

You could be successful if you have experience in

You will also have

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience using CRM systems would be beneficial, although not essential.
