Wise May are looking for an Events Coordinator to join a leading event venue provider based in the City to plan, organise and deliver corporate events. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team, who bring high profile events and conferences to life.
This is a full time, venue based role, the standard hours are 9am-5.30pm.
Events Coordinator duties and responsibilities:
- In conjunction with the sales manager and sales team, plan and organise events.
- Maximise up-selling opportunities to increase sales revenue.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with external service providers.
- Organise and host regular client site visits and planning meetings.
- To manage client information through the venue and event management software.
- Prepare and collate final event details to hand over to the operational team within the correct timeframe period.
- Attend and support relevant trade fairs/exhibitions as requested.
- Be aware of key competitors and their strengths and weaknesses.
- Fully aware of market trends and industry changes.
Events Coordinator key skills and experience required:
- Demonstrable experience working within the hotel industry, responsible for planning and organising corporate events.
- Proven experience building and managing relationships with external service providers.
- Client relationship management.
- Proactive sales mindset with an interest in progressing into a sales orientated role.
- 33 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)
