Wise May is recruiting for a Credit Control Technician with London Market insurance experience to join a global insurance and reinsurance provider, to assist with the collection and reconciliation of premiums, maximise cash flow and minimise bad debt.

This is a full time, permanent position with hybrid working (4 days in the office and 1 day remote).

Credit Control Technician duties and responsibilities:

  • Undertake credit control processes and procedures.
  • Assist with the collection and reconciliation of premiums.
  • Assist underwriting teams with the management of outstanding premiums.
  • Support bank reconciliation processes and maintain ledger transactions.
  • Assist with month‑end close procedures.
  • Facilitate MI reporting to support internal and external requirements.

Credit Control Technician key skills and experience required:

  • Credit control experience within the London Insurance Market.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis and MI reporting.
  • Able to manage and take responsibility for own workload, effectively coordinating multiple priorities.
  • Effective relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, confident in engaging with colleagues across different business departments.
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Able to work in and contribute to the team.
  • A good communicator, with the ability to act in a professional manner.
