Wise May are looking for a Service Contract Manager to join an extremely busy and friendly Building Management and Controls Specialist based near Bromley. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a customer centric and collaborative team, to drive the development of the organisations services. This is a full time, permanent role, with hybrid working and the hours are 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
Service Contract Manager duties and responsibilities include:
- Liaising with clients to ensure the delivery of the service contracts continue to meet their expectations and that the contracts are retained on each renewal.
- Seek new business from existing clients and introduce new clients to the business.
- Ensure that profit and loss targets for each work type are delivered through the control of all budgets including wage to charge, materials, and maintenance of equipment. Work types will be service, remedial and call outs.
- Oversee the service department and work closely with the administration team to ensure reports are returned to clients in a timely fashion, with the correct information along with any required quotations.
- Manage the service engineers directly including annual reviews and personal development plans.
- Oversee and assist with the planning of the calendar making sure that resources are used in the most efficient manner looking for initiative solutions to staffing operational expenses.
- Be responsible for ensuring all call outs are responded to within the relevant SLA’s for each contract and that good communication is upheld with the clients.
- Provide weekly department reports to line manager and attend monthly management meetings.
Service Contract Manager key skills and experience required:
- Demonstrable experience working as a Service Contract Manager, preferably within the BMS sector.
- Confident leading a team, to include undertaking annual reviews and personal development plans, ensuring they deliver high-quality, client-focused services.
- Adept at driving growth through securing business from existing and new clients.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and build strong relationships internally and externally.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
