Wise May are looking for a Paraplanner to join a busy Financial Advisory firm in Bromley. This role is a great opportunity to support Financial Advisers in delivering accurate financial advice to their clients. We are looking for a proactive, organised and analytical candidate who is adaptable and has the ability to work well under pressure to support the company in achieving the business goals and objectives.
This is a full time, permanent hybrid role (4 days in the office and 1 day WFH), with the working hours of 9am-5pm.
Paraplanner duties and responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Financial Advisers in verifying the compliance and suitability of recommendations.
- Providing oversight to the Administrators when delegating the implementation of new business.
- Ensuring all client reviews and new business workflow is completed to a suitable standard and in a timely manner.
- Accurately preparing suitability reports and letters to target deadlines.
- Discussing client objectives with the clients Financial Adviser, identifying and obtaining necessary suitability checks.
- Ensuring all client queries are appropriately investigated, and accurate responses given.
- Demonstrable understanding of financial products and services and a Level 4-6 Paraplanner Diploma.
- Strong analytical skills specifically analysing financial records and providing detailed technical commentary.
- Affective time management and organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple caseloads at one time.
- Ability to assess suitability in line with client's calls.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
