Job Description
We're looking for a driven, strategic, and ambitious Senior Partnerships Manager to join our growing partnerships team in London.
In this role, your main KPI will be to grow the acquisition of high net worth customers through strategic partnerships.
You will play a pivotal part in expanding our growth engine by identifying, pitching, negotiating, launching and scaling high-impact referral partnerships.
As a Senior Partnerships Manager, you will bring vast experience in proactive outreach, network building, and closing complex commercial deals.
You will be expected to set your own KPIs, establish immediate quick wins, and shape the overarching strategy for acquiring new strategic partners.
Some examples include businesses serving globally mobile individuals, expats, and cross-border clientele (such as global mobility firms, relocation specialists, private client law firms, accounting, tax advisory, and wealth management).
You will own the partnership lifecycle end-to-end: from attending events and leading cold outreach, to pitching our product, negotiating commercials, launching the partnership, and actively managing the relationship during its initial 3 to 6 months to ensure referral momentum before handing off to the Account Management team.
As part of your role, you'll need strong selling skills to convince partners to work with us, strong communicator, commercially minded and hands‑on, with the ability to build trust and close partnership deals.
Responsibilities of the role include;
- Find new partnership opportunities
- Build, define and execute outreach of the partnership pipeline
- Identify verticals we need to target, prospects to outreach and own outreach to targeted prospects
- Work closely with Partnership Sales Specialist to outreach, preparing meetings and pitches to new partner prospects
- Lead partner meetings, pitch our product and clearly articulate the added value of Wise.
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders within partners
- Represent Wise at industry events, conferences, and gatherings to build a deep external network and source prospective partners.
- Close and launch new partnerships
- Create end-to-end partner deal structuring, including commercial models, payout structures, and promotional terms.
- Evaluate deal mechanics using metrics like LTV, CPA, and payback periods to ensure long-term profitability and alignment with product standards.
- Work with Partnerships Account Growth Manager to ensure a smooth management handover of newly launched partners
- Reporting on new partnerships
- Regularly review deal progression on the pipeline to ensure you're meeting desired KPIs.
- Weekly check-in with partnerships sales specialists to discuss progress, blockers and any suggestions to maximise pipeline progression.
- Collaborate with internal teams to review new deals performance, evaluate success of partnerships and rectify strategy if needed.
- Identify new trends and key periods to find pipeline opportunities to help shape the team strategy.
- Report to senior leadership on pipeline status and change direction when needed to meet KPIs.
