Company Description
Wise is a global technology company, building the best way to move and manage the world’s money.
Min fees. Max ease. Full speed.
Whether people and businesses are sending money to another country, spending abroad, or making and receiving international payments, Wise is on a mission to make their lives easier and save them money.
As part of our team, you will be helping us create an entirely new network for the world's money.
For everyone, everywhere.
More about our mission and what we offer.
Job Description
At Wise we're building money without borders — for people without borders.
Our mission is to make moving money around the world instant, transparent, convenient and eventually free.
Millions of customers across the world now trust us to manage their money and make it easier to live an international life: sending, receiving, spending and holding, anywhere.
The discoverability of Wise is critical to that mission.
For millions of people, our website and logged-out experience is the very first touchpoint — where they learn what Wise is, how it helps them, and why they should choose us over anyone else.
We're hiring a Principal Product Marketing Manager to own how Wise is positioned to potential customers globally, across our logged-out and discovery surfaces.
This is a strategic ownership role: you set the consumer positioning that product, marketing and regional teams execute against — as well as help deliver individual campaigns.
You own how Wise shows up at the start of the customer journey.
You keep a close eye on micro and macro trends — mapping what people expect when they look for financial solutions — and shape the product narrative and content to meet those expectations.
Working with design, research, marketing and regional teams, you drive adoption through GTM launches, clear value propositions and strong positioning across our logged-out website, landing pages and acquisition surfaces.
You have the final call on consumer positioning and the messaging hierarchy across send / receive / spend.
You partner closely with the Onboarding team, who own the logged-in first-transaction experience; you set the positioning that carries into onboarding.
- What you'll own and drive
- Consumer logged-out and discovery surfaces — homepage, landing pages and acquisition surfaces.
- The positioning and storytelling of the Wise Account across markets, so customers understand Wise is more than money transfer.
- A clear customer messaging hierarchy across send / receive / spend.
- The localisation process that leverages regional-team knowledge and balances it against a consistent global proposition.
- A live view of how customers perceive us — customer interviews (converts and non-converts), competitor positioning and gaps — translated into positioning frameworks that inform both acquisition and onboarding narratives.
- Revised homepages and logged-out surfaces with clearer positioning of Wise as an account.
- Awareness and conversion campaigns with marketing across our main markets — homepage, ads, SEO-driven content.
- What success looks like
In your first 6–12 months you will have
- Sharpened how Wise is positioned as an account across our main markets, with measurable impact on discovery-led acquisition and logged-out → registration conversion.
- Established a single, clear positioning playbook and messaging hierarchy the whole consumer org aligns to.
- Built the metrics framework that links positioning and comms to adoption, so we can tell what's working.
- What's in it for you
- The chance to own Wise’s global positioning at the very first touchpoint for millions of customers.
- Autonomy to set the product marketing strategy for Discovery, with the support of a talented team.
- A competitive compensation package, including RSUs.
- A hybrid working model, allowing for a blend of home and office work.
- A generous self-development budget and comprehensive benefits package.
- The chance to work in a diverse, inclusive, and innovative environment.
Qualifications
What we're looking for
- Strong positioning experience.
You've built or refined product narratives that differentiated a brand or product in a competitive space.
You make complex products simple and compelling.
- Data-informed decision making.
You use customer insight, research and performance data to shape messaging and evaluate success.
You've built metrics frameworks that link comms to adoption.
- Acquisition surfaces as products. You understand how websites and landing pages work as product surfaces, not just marketing channels.
- Global mindset. You understand localisation, segmentation, and how to balance global consistency with local relevance.
- Collaborative leadership at Principal level.
You align product, engineering, marketing and regional teams and drive decisions to a conclusion — bringing alignment without losing speed, and holding a clear point of view under challenge.
