You’ll lead DEI across Wise's People function—partnering with leaders to diagnose challenges, co-create and deliver action plans, and drive measurable progress. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You’ll need to think big picture and roll up your sleeves to make change happen.
What you’ll be doing
- People Partnering & Advisory
- Partner with People COEs (Talent, L&D, Reward, Employee Relations, People Experience and Employee Brand) and business leaders to embed DEI in talent processes, policies, culture and products.
- Diagnose inclusion gaps through data and listening; co-create action plans with accountability.
- Coach managers and People Partners on inclusive leadership, bias mitigation, and complex DEI-related employee matters.
- DEI Programming & Capability Building
- Design and deliver DEI training and learning journeys (in-person and virtual).
- Build toolkits and resources that enable managers and teams to act on inclusion day-to-day.
- Support and govern Wise's employee communities (ERGs), ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Measurement, Reporting & Compliance
- Own DEI metrics, dashboards, and narrative reporting for leadership and the Board.
- Manage global regulatory reporting (pay gap, EEO, workforce diversity) across jurisdictions.
- Track progress against DEI goals and surface insights to inform strategy.
- Strategy & Influence
- Shape Wise's DEI roadmap in partnership with the People Leadership Team.
- Advise on risk, reputation, and opportunity related to DEI and take steps to mitigate.
- Represent Wise externally and bring best practice back into the business.
- Work with Regional People teams to deliver local plans, acknowledging cultural and regional differences.
Qualifications
Essential
- Relevant experience in DEI, Partnering, or OD roles with enterprise-wide impact.
- Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and translate DEI strategy into action.
- Strong facilitation and training design skills; comfortable delivering to large, diverse audiences.
- Experience managing multi-jurisdiction DEI reporting and compliance (pay gap, EEO, etc.).
- Data fluency: you use metrics to diagnose problems, measure progress, and tell compelling stories.
- Bias for action and accountability—you balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Desirable
- Experience leading or supporting employee resource groups or communities.
- Background in fast-growth, global, or tech environments.
- Familiarity with People systems and analytics tools.
