Our Client is looking to take on a Customs/Operations Clerk to join their small but effective Team. Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Communicate effectively with authorities, airlines, transport ops, and customers to ensure all stakeholders are updated throughout the process.
- Ensure compliance with all Border Force, Port Health, and APHA regulations for perishable imports.
- Handle and control ETSF entries, ensuring full Border Force compliance and facilitating all import controls.
- Liaise with Transport Operations to monitor shipments in transit and ensure timely management of the entire process.
- Manage the APHA application and the customs clearance process from start to finish.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel and other MS Office packages.
- Highly numerate and able to handle complex data and records with great accuracy.
- Experience of dealing with Perishable Goods.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in processing, using Excel worksheets and maintaining accurate records.
