Refuse Operative Wise Employment has a fantastic opportunity for a Full Time Permanent Refuse Operative to join a brilliant Organisation in East Devon on a permanent basis. This fantastic opportunity offers a salary of £29,607pa, working a 41.5-hour week. Working Wednesday-Sunday 7:30am-4:30pm with a 4pm finish on Thursday Fridays (Other areas available too). As well as a good salary they also offer a fantastic range of benefit including: Flexible Working arrangement Employee discounts with a large variety of retailers Healthcare Cash Plan Due to the nature of the Refuse Operative position, candidates will need to be willing to work outside and in all weather! (Full PPE will be provided) As an Outdoor Cleansing Operative your role will involve: Emptying litter bins along public streets and footpaths Litter picking in public spaces, beaches, and recreational areas Cleaning and restocking public toilets and facilities Sweeping paths, channels, and high-traffic areas Supporting event clean-up and waste management Operating cleansing equipment and council vehicles To be successful in this role you will need: To work well independently and as part of a team Thorough, reliable, and takes pride in creating a clean environment Can deal with members of the public in a calm and respectful way Has a Full Clean Driving Licence Is willing to work across the week including some weekends and early mornings Please note that any candidate that is being put forward for the role will be required to undertake a DVLA Driving Licence Check
