This amazing opportunity, is a Full Time Permanent position offering a competitive salary along with a variety of benefits as shown below: 25 days of paid holiday plus bank holidays Investment in your professional development Subsidised canteen Engagement and rewards platform with discounts at over 100 retailers Free parking Key responsibilities include: Collaborating with application engineers to turn concept designs into detailed product definitions Managing design projects, communicating with key stakeholders, and supporting departmental knowledge sharing Supporting the validation and verification of designs and related documentation Developing bespoke solutions while considering production methods and processes Contributing to both personal and professional growth with the potential to progress into roles across Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, or R&D To be successful you will need: A Masters Degree (or equivalent) in a STEM subject such as Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or Physics with a strong academic background Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks is preferred but not essential) Knowledge of mechanical design and rotating equipment (Turning, Milling, Grinding, Precision Metrology) Experience in project management, business processes, and analytical tools (e.g., 6 Sigma, 8D) Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Please Note: Right to Work in the UK is required.
