Wise Employment are looking for a Production Engineer to join a rapidly growing company based in Exeter! You will be working Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30 and Fridays 07:30 - 14:00. This is a full-time permanent position offering a salary between £35,000 - £45,000 a year along with some fantastic benefits such as:

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess and implement production and process improvements
  • Support lean ways of working to improve manufacturing efficiency and output
  • Support new product introduction and change requests to ensure production-efficient and safe designs
  • Work closely with Production, Quality and Engineering teams to improve processes
  • Assist with operating instructions, reports and technical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards

Requirements

  • HNC / HND (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline
  • Experience delivering manufacturing and process improvements in batch production
  • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes
  • Quality experience including DFMEA / PFMEA
  • Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
  • Project management experience and a collaborative approach
