Wise Employment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a long-standing, family-run electrical company based in Plymouth. Our client has been a trusted name in the community for many years, delivering and installing white goods with care and expertise.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver large domestic appliances (think washing machines, fridges, cookers, TVs).
- Professionally installing appliances in customers' homes – from integrated kitchen units to freestanding cookers and wall-mounted TVs.
- Handling appliances with care using appropriate tools (sack trucks, lifting straps).
- Acting as a team leader on deliveries, providing excellent customer service every step of the way.
- Completing basic paperwork and reporting any product issues, accidents, or damages.
Hours & Perks:
- 8am – 4:30pm, 5 days/week (including some Saturdays) (Work 3 weeks Mon–Fri, then 1 week Tue–Sat in rotation).
- 28 days' annual leave.
- Paid overtime for any extra hours worked.
- Full training provided, with potential for higher pay if you show strong installation skills in your interview.
What We're Looking For:
- A full UK driving licence (max 3 points).
- Physically fit and confident with heavy lifting.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.
