Wise Employment are recruiting for an Application Developer to join a fantastic company based in Maidenhead. This is a Full Time Permanent Opportunity, where you will be working 9:30am – 5:30pm, offering a salary of £50,000 a year, potentially higher for the right candidate, with onsite parking! This role is initially based on site; and then has the option to become remote.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance existing in-house applications
- Develop new features and tools to agreed requirements
- Scope, estimate, schedule, and communicate development work
- Ensure solutions comply with IT security and ISO27001 standards
- Identify and deliver system improvements
- Collaborate with the Senior Developer and wider data team
Qualifications:
- C#, .NET Core, OO development, repository pattern, unit testing
- Windows Forms experience
- Strong MS SQL Server skills (T‑SQL, stored procedures, functions)
- Database design and development
- Git or similar source control
- Debugging, problem‑solving, writing documentation
- PowerShell scripting, API development
- Microsoft Access (structure, design, VBA)
- SSRS, SSIS
- Excel
