Technical Author needed! This position is a Full Time Permanent role based in Exeter (EX5), offering a salary of £25,500 per annum and working Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm or 8am – 4.30pm.

Working closely with Senior Technical managers, this role is perfect for someone looking to grow their skills in desktop publishing, document management, and technical writing. You'll be a key contributor in ensuring all product instructions, packaging materials, and labels are produced to a consistent, professional standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce, edit, and proofread technical instructions and documentation.
  • Manage desktop publishing tasks using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Create and maintain packaging and labelling artwork across multiple product ranges and markets.
  • Work with other departments to ensure accuracy and clarity of content.
  • Assist in maintaining a well-organized library of technical publications.
  • Support translation processes for multilingual documentation.
  • Ensure all materials comply with relevant industry standards and company policies.
  • Upload and maintain up-to-date documentation on internal and public platforms.
  • Collaborate with development, customer service, and engineering teams to gather essential technical information.
