In this role you will be doing:
- Source new direct components for NPIs, collaborating with engineering teams to interpret specifications and technical data.
- Identify, vet, and qualify suppliers, using industry intelligence to strengthen our supply chain.
- Drive cost savings and inventory reduction opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while ensuring compliance with sourcing policies and risk management programs.
- Be a subject matter expert for direct components and support sourcing strategies.
To be successful for this role you must:
- Education: CIPS Level 4+ & Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Strong understanding of the supply chain and mechanical engineering principles.
- Skills: Negotiation, supplier management, business acumen, SAP & Excel proficiency.
- Mind-set: Analytical, proactive, detail-oriented, and a great team player!
