Wise Employment are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer Specialist to support a major Energy Recovery Facility in Cornwall. This contract role is ideal for a hands-on specialist with strong experience in industrial boilers, pressure part welding, and heavy mechanical plant environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mechanical support on industrial boilers and pressure systems
  • Pressure part welding and associated lifting activities
  • Supporting plant performance, safety, and compliance
  • Working within environmental and regulatory requirements

Essential Experience
  • Industrial boiler and pressure part welding experience
  • Background in EfW, power generation, biomass, or heavy process plants
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation
  • Project-based mechanical experience
  • Ability to start immediately
Desirable
  • Degree or higher qualification in engineering or management
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership
