Job Description

Secretary/Receptionist – £25k – £28,000 D.O.E. Bideford – Full Time – 36.25 Hours per week.

  • 36.25 hours per week / 5 days per week including the requirement to work Saturday mornings.
  • 20 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays increasing to 25 days’ annual leave after three years’ service.
  • Opportunity to carry over 1 week’s holiday into the following holiday year.

Main Duties

  • Providing ad hoc accounts administration and secretarial support reporting to the Partners and Managers of the office.
  • Audio and copy typing, photocopying/binding documents, and scanning and handling incoming and/or outgoing correspondence into the Document Management System.
  • Key Holder – Open office daily and ensure all Meeting Rooms and Reception are prepared for all Meetings and Visitors as per the diary.
  • 1st point of contact both in Reception to meet and greet all Visitors and Contractors, answering all incoming calls, taking messages and transferring to the right department/person, or passing on messages.
  • Responsible for all daily outgoing and incoming post.
  • Entering information and collating Data for internal reports.

Skills

  • Warm and Engaging personality as 1st point of contact for the company.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to Multi Task in order to meet deadlines and adapt to any situation by using own initiative.
  • To have worked in similar industry or busy Client Facing Reception/Administration role.
  • Excellent Oral and Written communication.
